We at Ena Laibon will take you through a journey of discovery about this proud community, show you first hand how well they have preserved their heritage in the most unique way. We also aim to give back to the community by educating Maasai girls formally and in return learn more about their culture, history and how they co-exist peacefully with nature. We promise you the absolute best of Africa's experience! HOW IT ALL BEGUN Jennifer, one of the founders, had her first contact with the Maasais at the young age of 12 and was greatly impressed. The head of the family walked ahead of the women and children as a sign of authority and security. The women were truly proud and elegant and had adorned themselves elaborately. They wore distinctly coloured shukas and the children were clean shaven and exuded great confidence in their gait and childish innocent ways. This mesmerized Jenny and right there a seed was sown. She knew she had to learn about the Maasai People and their way of life at some point. In 1991 on a visit to Narok Town, Jenny was taken in by a Maasai Pastor who had married the "Daughter of the Laibon" Ena Laibon is /was founded on the same values of hard work, honesty, loyalty, respect integrity , elegance and service to mankind while maintaining an authentic African touch.
